Do Anaconda Kill Their Pet Owners When Grown More Than 7 feet?

Before coming to question-” Do Anaconda kill their owners, when grown large“. First of all, I would like to discuss if a snake can be someone’s pet.

Can snakes be pets?

In that case, I would like to say if you want an animal to handled every day is always out on display and will develop a secure emotional attachment to its owner, then a snake is not for you.

Hence if you want an animal that is relatively low maintenance, needs to be fed once a week, and also that is fascinating to watch when it decided to explore its environment, then a snake might be for you.

Can an Anaconda be pet?

I don’t have any definite opinion on keeping Anaconda as a pet.

Reason:

  • Most Anacondas are ornery and dislike humans contact.
  • If you are talking about the green Anaconda, which is the most massive snake in the world, the most paramount reason that they make terrible pet is that they are semi-aquatic and spend 80% of their time in the water. If anyone keeps an Anaconda, they have to provide a large enclosure with both a pool and a basking area.
  • Green Anacondas are the most massive snakes in the world.because of their size and personality; an Anaconda is not ideal for handling and can pose a threat to anyone’s life.
  • In case you are getting a yellow Anaconda though they are much smaller than green Anacondas, they have far worse personalities. It’s like petting your death.

Do snake develop emotions for their owners?

When it comes to attacking, we can also discuss the matter ‘bond’ because what we expect a pet to have with his owner is ‘bond. Well, “do snakes have no bond with their owners?” that depends on what one means by bond; usually, snakes don’t feel any emotional affection with one another even their care of their young is limited and brief.

However, they can become familiar with the owner at a certain level.

Will snake attack their owner when grown-up?

That depends on the individual snake and how habituated it is to being handled and worked with. Snakes generally telegraph their mood with their body language; if one pays enough attention, they will know when a snake is calm or nervous or ready to attack.

Do Anaconda kill their pet owners when grown more than 7 feet?

All snakes, including Anaconda, have their different personalities, just like any other animal with a brain, snakes only attack their food; however, they may lash out at things to scare them. Different thoughts and evidence are saying if a 7 feet pet Anaconda can eat its owner. And people have different views-

  • “NO”- Small 7 feet Anacondas are not large enough to eat human but doesn’t mean it can’t kill you. Because the human shoulder is too broad and doesn’t fold down nicely as their usual prey does.
  • “YES”- an Anaconda can eat a person, and there are documented cases of Anacondas eating people. Mostly a 7 feet Anaconda can kill and harm; also, eat a child rather than an adult.

Conclusion:

A 20-23 feet Anaconda can swallow an adult man down if it wants to, but a 7 feet Anaconda can not. Instead of that, a 7 feet Anaconda will attack easy prays like other snakes, frogs insects, wild reptiles, and small animals. But they don’t make good pets at same time.
